Dan Micit is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of DM Capital (DMC), which was launched in December 2016.  Prior to this, Mr. Micit was the Managing Member and a co-founder of CKM Research, LLC (launched in May 2014), an equity research firm that ultimately served as DMC’s predecessor.  Previously, Mr. Micit was the Vice President of Finance at Beecher Carlson Holdings, Inc. from 2011 until its sale to Brown & Brown (BRO) in 2013 for $360 million. Mr. Micit originally joined Beecher in 2008, where he reported directly to the Vice Chairman/CFO during his 5 years with the company in a role that included numerous operational and M&A initiatives, as well as general corporate finance and planning. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Micit was an Associate at Atlanta Equity, a private equity firm specializing in buyouts and growth investments in lower middle-market companies. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Micit was a Senior Consultant at PowerPlan Consultants. Mr. Micit has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Highest Honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Wesley Wells has been an associate at DM Capital since 2024. Prior to this, Mr. Wells worked as an analyst and then associate at Finial Group, an investment firm that has acquired more than $500M worth of industrial real estate.

Wesley Wells has a B.S. in Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology, having graduated with highest honors. While at Georgia Tech, Wesley interned at JLL, Morgan Stanley, and Angle Oak Capital. He held leadership positions for Georgia Tech’s Investment Committee, which is a student-led endowment fund that controls over $1.6M. Wesley served as the treasurer of his fraternity. Wesley was a two-year starter for the Georgia Tech football team and was a member of the ACC-All Academic Team each year that he played.
