Dan Micit is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of DM Capital (DMC), which he launched in December 2016. Prior to founding DMC, Mr. Micit was the Managing Member and Co-Founder of CKM Research, LLC, an equity research firm established in May 2014, which ultimately served as the predecessor to DM Capital.

Previously, Mr. Micit was Vice President of Finance at Beecher Carlson Holdings, Inc. from 2011 until its sale to Brown & Brown (NYSE: BRO) in 2013 for $360 million. He originally joined Beecher Carlson in 2008, reporting directly to the Vice Chairman and CFO during his five-year tenure. His role encompassed corporate finance, financial planning, M&A initiatives, and various operational projects.

Before Beecher Carlson, Mr. Micit was an Associate at Atlanta Equity, a private equity firm specializing in buyouts and growth investments in lower middle-market companies (2007–2008). He began his career as a Senior Consultant at PowerPlan Consultants (2004–2007).

Mr. Micit holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, graduating with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
